Join our supportive Bundaberg team as a full-time Customer Service and Communications Officer We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to be the crucial first point of contact for our clients, playing a key role in delivering high-quality service and boosting our overall efficiency.

About the role
As our Customer Service Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality service to both internal and external customers via all modes of communication, including social media. You'll undertake a diverse workload as part of a team, ensuring daily functions are performed efficiently and on time.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Greeting visitors, managing reception duties, and handling incoming calls.
  • Delivering quality information and services face-to-face, via telephone, and email.
  • Liaising with other business units to resolve client issues and staying updated on services.
  • Managing all incoming/outgoing mail and monitoring general inboxes.
  • Assisting with administrative functions for meetings and events.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records including petty cash and reconciliations.
  • Ensuring adequate supplies of consumables and supporting equipment management.
About You
  • Current unencumbered Class C Drivers Licence.
  • Hold and maintain an approved Working with Children Suitability Blue Card.
  • Hold and maintain NDIS Worker Screening (as required for Risk Assessed Role).
  • A combination of relevant experience, education, and training in a similar role for a minimum of 2 years is desirable.
  • Experience working in a direct customer service role within an administration environment.
  • Working knowledge of social media and professional management of external communication platforms.
  • Possess an energetic, willing, and 'can-do' attitude, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
