About The Opportunity

Liverpool Hospital is seeking a Security Officer to join their team. This role operates on a 12-hour rotating roster, offering an excellent work/life balance. Responsibilities include control room operations, proactive patrols, engaging with individuals, responding to calls for assistance, handling emergencies, and resolving conflicts. The role offers educational opportunities and ongoing guidance and support.

What You'll Be Doing

Security staff work as part of a team to assist with managing patients, support visitors, and protect staff and assets. The role focuses on early identification, prevention and management of incidents, providing a safe environment for staff, patients and visitors in accordance with work health and safety legislation. Excellent customer service and professionalism are expected at all times. Security staff may need to contact police for suspected criminal activity and must avoid unnecessary risk.
