OverviewBluecurrent is a leading provider of innovative smart metering services and solutions in New Zealand and Australia. As a B2B company, we partner with leading energy retailers and distributors in New Zealand and Australia. Bluecurrent is looking for an Account Manager to join our dynamic AU Sales team, supporting our continued growth across Australia. In this role, you'll build client relationships, contribute to Bluecurrent metering sales plan and strategy, and be part of a team that values new ideas, continuous learning, and shared success.

Responsibilities- Represent Bluecurrent in the customer environment in a way that reflects our organisation and develops deep customer relationships.
- Understand the business context for each customer and factor that into an Account management plan.
- Expand and deliver the Bluecurrent proposition into both existing and new retailer partners.
- Work with the commercial and legal teams during the pre-sales, contract negotiation and bid management process.
- Be the voice of the customer within Bluecurrent to ensure that day-to-day service delivery meets or exceeds contractual expectations.
- Monitor market developments to support the development of value-adding product offerings.
- Deliver reporting to the business that allows for the measurement of customer activity and performance.
- A genuine desire to be part of a sales team with responsibility for sales volume, sales operations, contract negotiations, and business development. Experience within the utilities or energy sectors is preferable but not a prerequisite.
- The ability to identify and evaluate opportunities and the motivation to deliver actionable plans for activity management.
- Exhibit a problem-solving approach, a commitment to continuous improvement, and a growth mindset.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with all stakeholders, at all levels.
