The Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (ASUM) is the peak body for ultrasound in medicine across Australia and New Zealand. About the Role

The Education Coordinator plays a key part in delivering and administering ASUM's education programs. You'll ensure a seamless candidate and examiner experience while maintaining compliance, quality, and continuous improvement. The position offers a balance of independent program management and collaboration with committees, specialty heads, and the broader team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate educational programs and courses, including scheduling, resources, onboarding, assessments, and the annual exam.
  • Serve as main point of contact for candidates, examiners, and stakeholders, providing administrative and secretariat support.
  • Maintain and improve candidate databases, course materials, educational resources, and syllabus/regulation review cycles.
  • Support assessment and exam planning, execution, reporting, and certificate issuance, while enhancing candidate experience through automation and streamlined processes.
  • Collect and analyse program data, preparing reports on participation, outcomes, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and organisational policies, implementing best practices across all programs.

About you
  • Experience in education, RTO administration, or a related role.
  • LMS and CRM experience highly regarded (aXcelerate/ IMiS).
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple courses, tasks, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Sound knowledge of compliance requirements, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive and resourceful, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly.
  • Team-oriented, working effectively with both internal colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Customer-focused, committed to delivering a smooth and professional experience for candidates, supervisors, and examiners.
