Overview

Kingsway Indoor Stadium is seeking a fun & enthusiastic individual who has a passion to work in the sport & recreation industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the stadium's popular sporting competitions.

Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinating all sporting competitions at Kingsway Indoor Stadium
  • Leading a small team of casual sport umpires
  • Increasing team participation across all sporting competitions at Kingsway Indoor Stadium
  • Assisting in leading the daily operations at Kingsway Indoor Stadium
  • Assisting with the development & delivery of the stadium's marketing & promotions plan
  • Participating in business development and implementation of initiatives in line with key business and performance targets
About You

As a collaborative member of the Kingsway team, the position is accountable for delivering a high standard of well-organised sporting competitions and a high level of customer service. Applicants must be able to demonstrate through their CV and covering letter that they meet the following capabilities:

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work in high pressure situations
  • Experience in the development and delivery of leisure and sports programs
  • Proven communication and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of the practical application of Occupational Safety & health measures within a leisure facility environment

To be successful in this role, the following requirements will also need to be met:

  • Qualification in relevant discipline such as Business, management or Sports & Recreation is desirable
  • Relevant experience in a similar role is desirable
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Working with Children Check
