A well established, trusted non bank lender has an opening in their credit team due to organic growth. If you have a strong background in home lending credit assessment and a DLA or DCA, this could be the perfect role for you.

Base pay range

A$90,000.00/yr - A$110,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
  • Assess both direct & third party, secured home loan applications
  • Assess borrower profiles, including income, expenses, assets, and liabilities, to determine creditworthiness and risk levels
  • Conduct in-depth risk assessments, identifying mitigating factors
  • Prepare comprehensive credit reports and make informed recommendations
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and market trends, adapting credit policies and procedures
What you need
  • Proven experience as a Credit Analyst, with a strong background in home lending credit
  • Current hold or previously held a Delegated Lending Authority (DLA or DCA)
  • Experience assessing and making recommendations for PAYG and self-employed loan structures
  • Strong numerical literacy
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is highly desirable
