Credit Analyst – Sydney CBD
My client, a leading Non-bank Lender, are seeking a Credit Analyst to join a high-performing team in the heart of Sydney's CBD.
In this role, you'll be responsible for assessing creditworthiness, conducting detailed financial and risk analysis, preparing credit submissions, and supporting key business decisions. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll play a pivotal part in ensuring sound lending decisions while gaining exposure to a wide range of industries and clients.
What you'll be doing:
- Conducting detailed credit assessments and financial statement analysis
- Preparing credit papers and recommendations for approval
- Monitoring existing client portfolios and identifying potential risks
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to support lending decisions
- Assisting with ongoing process improvements in risk and credit frameworks
What we're looking for:
- 2–5 years' experience in a credit, lending, or analyst role (banking/financial services preferred)
- Strong financial analysis and modelling skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field (CA/CPA/CFA advantageous)
