Company Description

Thera is a non-bank lender focused on agriculture. We finance farmland, livestock, crop inputs and ag-equipment for Australian farmers. Thera's commercial thesis is built on customer relationship finance and a sound understanding of the agriculture sector.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Commercial Credit Analyst located in Sydney, NSW. The Commercial Credit Analyst will be required to liaise with our Origination team and network to work up deals, manage diligence, perform credit underwriting and analysis, prepare and present credit memorandums to our Credit Committee in addition to collaborating with our Legal, Operations and Finance teams as and when necessary.

Qualifications

  • At least five years of credit underwriting and analysis experience
  • Experience in agribusiness / agri-banking and/or agriculture
  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills ( a large part of the role is talking to farmers and our country Origination team and network)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Ag Economics or related fields
