Overview

Function & Event Supervisor – The Fresh Collective Brisbane: This role offers the chance to work across iconic Brisbane venues—Waters Edge at Portside Wharf, Riverlife at Kangaroo Point, and Queensland Museum Kurilpa in East Brisbane—delivering a diverse range of functions and events. The Fresh Collective Brisbane is seeking an experienced Function & Event Supervisor to join our dynamic service team.

No two days are the same

Responsibilities
  • Full time position
  • Annual salary at $75,000 plus super
  • Lead and manage events across multiple spaces
  • Deliver outstanding client experiences across cocktail parties, conferences, and sit-down dinners
  • Oversee all service aspects from setup to pack down
  • Supervise a team of skilled waitstaff and bartenders
  • Act as the primary client liaison throughout the event
  • Collaborate closely with the culinary team to ensure seamless service
  • Maintain high standards of communication and professionalism

What we\'re Looking For
  • 6-12 months previous experience as a Head Waiter or Venue Supervisor
  • Must have previous function experience, ideally in high-end or large-scale events
  • Background in 5-star hospitality preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Passion for creating memorable event experiences

  • Strong knowledge and enthusiasm for food and beverage
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
