Role details

The Clinical Excellence Unit at Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Consumer Feedback Coordinator to join their team on a temporary basis.

Your opportunity

This Consumer Feedback Coordinator role aims to strengthen consumer engagement and feedback within Mackay HHS. Feedback includes complaints, compliments, and suggestions. All staff are responsible for supporting those providing feedback. Consumer feedback is crucial for measuring service quality and enhancing patient care, services, and facilities for the community.

The Consumer Feedback Coordinator provides quality customer service and manages feedback responses across Mackay HHS. This role involves promptly acknowledging feedback, managing responses in an open and timely manner, and ensuring confidentiality and privacy of all personal health and feedback information. The position is vital in maintaining the integrity of the feedback process and supporting staff to respond appropriately and document actions taken.

The Clinical Excellence Unit supports Service Delivery to foster continuous improvement aligned with contemporary practices, aiming for exceptional consumer outcomes. The team collaborates to provide Education, Quality, Patient Safety, Infection Control, Clinical, and Service Governance.
