About The Role

The National Quality Manager at Ramsay Health Care Australia plays a senior leadership role within the National Clinical Governance Unit, overseeing patient safety, quality and system improvements. They ensure national systems support the RHC Patient Safety and Clinical Quality Framework and meet ACSQHC NSQHS Standards. The role involves applying evidence-based quality improvement methodologies to guide decisions, enhance services, and drive system-wide improvements.

Your Skills And Experience
  • Holds tertiary qualifications in a relevant health discipline, with a minimum of five years' experience including quality/patient safety/health service management. Maintain current relevant registration with AHPRA.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards and associated Clinical Care Standards and Advisories. Demonstrated ability to support the organisation to embed same into business-as-usual processes promoting an "Always Ready" accreditation culture.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of evidence-based practice and research to support the provision of safe high quality, reliable healthcare.
  • Demonstrated comprehensive experience in applying quality improvement methodologies to drive innovation and service improvements, using advanced project and change management skills.
  • Well-developed critical thinking, analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proven ability to work within large, complex organisations, developing productive working relationships with a wide range of individuals and stakeholder groups, positively influencing effective outcomes.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead and operate both independently and collaboratively within team based consultative role, upholding clinical excellence and professionalism.
  • Excellent time management skills, including the ability to prioritise workload and competing priorities, and deliver projects within agreed timeframes.
  • Commitment to the achievement of excellent outcomes, with a strong sense of accountability, attention to detail and customer service.
Desirable Criteria
  • Post graduate qualifications in health service management, quality or system improvement
  • Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft Office and associated programs.
