Role Description

As a Business Development Consultant, you will drive the development and maintenance of regional clients and key strategic partnerships to contribute to business growth. You will join a team of Business Development Consultants covering Victoria, with a strong focus on the Early Childhood Education and Care sector, and opportunities to engage with the Aged Care sector. This is a Hybrid role, largely on the road, with a self-managed schedule. Monthly team meetings are held at our Southbank office on a Wednesday.

You will:

  • Develop and manage relationships with childcare centres to provide tailored training solutions.
  • Develop new business, engage in face-to-face client meetings, coordinate enrolments, and nurture existing clients.
  • Travel to regional areas as required. A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle are required. Based around Packenham and the Gippsland region.
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Lead regional client development and regional partnerships to drive business growth.
  • Attend team meetings and manage your schedule effectively.
  • Engage with both Early Childhood Education and Care and Aged Care sectors where appropriate.
Essential Criteria
  • Proven experience in B2B/B2C sales (minimum 2 years)
  • Drive to consistently achieve targets
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Ability to build successful long-term business relationships
  • Excellent time management skills
  • WWC Check
  • Driver's Licence/Reliable vehicle
Desirable
  • Demonstrated experience in Early Childhood Education and Care and Aged Care
  • Demonstrated experience in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector
  • Qualifications in Business or Education Sector
