Russo Higher Education (RHE) Pty Ltd are currently seeking a full time Executive Manager Learner Support based in Brisbane CBD. This is working with James Cook University (JCU) Brisbane which is a campus of James Cook University Australia operated in partnership with RHE.
As the Executive Manager Learner Support, you will ensure that students receive the necessary support to succeed in both academic and non-academic areas throughout their entire student lifecycle. Additionally, you will assist educators in delivering programs that comply with regulatory and institutional standards and practices.

Key responsibilities include:
Delivering core student success initiatives related to orientation, academic preparedness, transition, graduation and student communication.
Improving student retention, progression, success, and satisfaction by identifying and supporting at-risk students through provision of academic and non-academic support services and interventions.
Contributing to the delivery of academic programs through provision of enabling support for educators including scheduling, enrolments, course and study planning and examinations support.
Fostering a collaborative approach to service delivery by engaging with academic leaders, educators, and colleagues internally and at JCU Australia to ensure educational and student support initiatives are aligned with the University's strategic objectives and comply with relevant legislative and institutional requirements.
Leading with a focus on teamwork and innovation; and contributing to a values-driven organisational culture that fosters a sense of belonging and wellbeing within an inclusive and respectful working environment.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
Appropriate tertiary qualification combined with relevant and substantial work experience in an educational context, with a focus on the holistic role of Student Support Services on the student journey including psycho-social support.
Demonstrated skills in data analysis and reporting and the application of information to inform design and delivery of effective strategies to address issues of attrition, retention and course progression
Knowledge of educational policies and regulations including Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) ensuring compliance with the Higher Education Standards Framework, Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) and the Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act to meet registration conditions under the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS)
Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team of professional staff in an education context to achieve benchmarked best practice standards
