Support Coach Opportunity

We have a casual position available to join our Student Support Services team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualised coaching sessions and advocacy for learners with a disability as required.
  • Monitor the operation of subjects and learners, and communicate information to teachers and coordinators for providing reasonable adjustments and customising learning support.
  • Conduct coaching sessions as directed by coordinators in consultation with teachers.
  • Prepare and review instructional plans to meet changing learner needs and rectify issues as they arise.
  • Co-ordinate and maintain instructional records, manage resources, and report significant problems to coordinators.
  • Meet regularly with teachers and coordinators to discuss issues like the impact of disabilities on instructional exercises and subject content.

  • Demonstrated self-management, decision-making, team participation, and adaptability.
  • Demonstrated instructional effectiveness, including knowledge of contemporary practice, quality interaction, and preparation.
  • Demonstrated promotion of inclusive delivery practice through contributing to course planning and development.
  • Demonstrated commitment to self-development, focusing on skills, technology, and practices.
  • Application of knowledge and commitment to anti-discrimination legislation principles and objectives.
