Description
As an Operational Support Officer, you will support the delivery of superannuation services by performing a range of administrative and operational tasks.
This role is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in superannuation administration, including recent graduates.
Job specification
- Perform and coordinate a variety of administrative tasks across superannuation operations
- Maintain adviser records and process fees in accordance with Apex procedures
- Execute ATO-mandated tasks including Unclaimed Super Monies and Lost Member processing
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support platform enhancements
- Investigate and resolve exceptions to ensure service delivery meets quality, SLA, and compliance standards
- Assist in identifying and implementing improvements to processes and systems
- Support reporting activities and contribute to service performance assessments
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
Skills Required:
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Analytical mindset with the ability to investigate and resolve issues
- Understanding of superannuation administration processes (preferred)
- Ability to work effectively within a team and with external stakeholders
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving ability
- Prior experience in superannuation or financial services (preferred but not essential)
- Formal superannuation qualifications or willingness to complete RG146 within 12 months
- Familiarity with superannuation technology platforms (e.g. Acurity) is advantageous
- Commitment to delivering high-quality client service
- Willingness to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
