We're partnering with a well-established international freight forwarder looking for a confident and capable Operations Manager to take the reins of their Transport and Import/Export operations. If you're someone who thrives on solving operational challenges and driving process improvements, this is your chance to step into a career-defining role.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead and restructure transport and import operations, shifting the team from reactive to proactive performance
  • Establish meaningful KPIs, monitor performance, and ensure consistent service excellence
  • Implement system-driven efficiencies using CW1 working cross-functionally across departments
  • Resolve operational issues swiftly while balancing the needs of customers, staff, and the wider business
  • Review SOPs, staffing levels, warehouse processes, and implement improvements across the board

What You'll Bring:

  • Strong experience in transport and import sea operations
  • Proven success in managing and developing offshore teams
  • High-level proficiency with CW1
  • A dependable, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to lead from the front
  • Must be available to work full-time from the office in Tullamarine
