Troocoo is delighted to be partnering with a highly respected organisation. Due to sustained growth and internal career development, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Coordinator to join the business on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Based in Brisbane CBD, this role plays a key part in delivering efficient and people-focused HR operational support within a complex, fast-paced environment and is a great step in the direction to Human Resource Business Partner role.

This position offers the benefits of a hybrid working model, with an expectation of being in the office 3 days per week to foster strong internal relationships and support a hands-on workforce.

The Opportunity

Supporting the broader HR team, this role will see you act as the first point of contact for HR queries, while supporting a range of systems and people processes across the employee lifecycle. You will partner closely with leaders and employees, ensuring HR processes run smoothly and compliantly, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting leaders and employees with HR advice on policies and procedures
  • Support the execution of HR operational activities and people initiatives across the business.
  • Coordinate the preparation of employee documentation including contracts, letters and changes to employment.
  • Maintain and audit HR data to ensure integrity and alignment across systems (HRIS/Payroll).
  • Partner with payroll to resolve discrepancies and support data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with various teams to assist with resolution of complex issues
  • Project support

What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience in a similar HR Coordinator or HR Advisor position, ideally in a large or complex organisation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • A proactive and continuous improvement mindset.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms such as Aurion or Workday is desirable.

Qualifications:
  • A degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field is desirable but not essential.
