I-MED Radiology Network is pleased to offer this amazing career development opportunity for a Clinical Lead Sonographer to lead the team in Launceston.
Based in our Launceston clinics - St Vincent's and St Luke's - this full-time role provides the chance to work alongside the state's leading breast radiologist, overseeing the day-to-day operations of sonography services across these sites in collaboration with the regional ultrasound coordinator.
As a key leader, you will provide both professional and operational leadership, ensuring efficient use of resources while maintaining a focus on patient care, team development, and service excellence.

Key accountabilities include:
- Workforce Management: Collaborate with the Ultrasound coordinator to plan and manage staffing, leave, and absences.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Manage, develop, and mentor staff and trainees, providing clinical guidance.
- Service Excellence: Ensure outstanding service and supervise daily operations to maintain high standards.
- Quality Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance clinical outcomes and financial performance.
- Patient-Centric Approach: Deliver high-quality patient care through routine and specialized imaging procedures.
