Operational Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day running of the sonography department to ensure efficient service delivery and high clinical standards.
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and support sonographers, trainees, and students. Manage rostering, leave planning, and staffing needs.
Strategic Development: Work closely with the North West Coordinator and Regional Manager to align service goals and drive innovation across North Tasmania.
Service Quality: Lead initiatives to enhance clinical outcomes, improve workflow, and ensure an exceptional patient experience.
Patient-Centric Approach: Provide the highest level of patient care by performing routine and specialised medical imaging procedures to the highest professional standards.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support service excellence and collaboration.
Requirements- Leadership Skills: Ability to effectively manage, coach, and lead clinic staff, creating a cohesive and motivated team.
- Clinical Excellence: Demonstrated proficiency in performing high-quality sonography examinations, including mammography, Renal Artery and CVI, employing correct techniques to industry standards or above.
- Excellent Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with radiologists, patients, staff, and other medical and non-medical personnel verbally and in writing.
