Role Overview:
">The Clinical Pharmacy Manager is responsible for providing expert advice and support on clinical pharmacy services to internal and external stakeholders. They will participate in the design, operation, and evaluation of clinical pharmacy services, policy review, training, and project work as required.
">Key Responsibilities:

- Operate independently in the provision of complex pharmacy activities to patients of the Tasmanian Health Service by demonstrating advanced knowledge, skills, and experience relevant to pharmacy practice and provision of pharmaceutical information.">
- Supervise pharmacy teams under the broad delegation of the relevant pharmacy service manager, including direction of work priorities and practices; monitoring workflow; management of staff, professional supervision and development, performance appraisal, and implementing programs and strategies to address identified training needs.">
- Lead, initiate, and participate in the development and monitoring of policies and standard operating procedures for clinical pharmacy services.">
Requirements:
">To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in pharmacy practice and management, with current registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia. Desirable criteria include recognition at Registrar or Consultant level with the Australian & New Zealand College of Advanced Pharmacy (ANZCAP) in a relevant discipline or relevant postgraduate qualification in pharmacy and/or management.
