Job Description

The Role:

Civilmart has a great opportunity for a proactive, warehouse/counter sales person to join our team at Molendinar

You will be responsible for managing customer accounts, quoting, entering and following up on orders, invoicing, counter sales, assisting with stock takes, loading and unloading stock, general warehousing tasks, and supporting the internal sales functions. It is essential for the successful candidate to hold a forklift ticket to assist with loading products as required.

Requirements:

We are looking for someone proactive, with good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, and professional communication skills. A typical day would involve:

  • Answering customer phone and web inquiries and managing the call to generate a positive outcome.
  • Creating quotes and managing customer orders through to completion.
  • Collaborating with the team to understand the product range, production scheduling, and delivery and freight requirements.
  • Understanding customer needs and negotiating expectations, considering production timing and inventory availability.
  • Resolving customer complaints promptly by clarifying the issue, determining the cause, and providing solutions.
  • Building relationships at all levels within Civilmart and with our customers.
  • Loading and unloading containers and products as needed.
