Are you looking to progress your career in a technologically advanced field where you can use your exceptional problem-solving and technical skills? Our client is a leader in the field of Building Automation and energy management within the control environment for commercial and industrial buildings, providing completely customised service installing, designing, upgrading, commissioning and end-to-end maintenance. The role is based in Newcastle and may require interstate travel for training.

Responsibilities
  • Run diagnostics, trouble-shooting and servicing Building Automation / Energy Management Systems, and carry out scheduled servicing.
  • Work closely with customers using a consultative approach to understand needs and provide solutions to expand and improve existing systems.
  • Complete projects and upgrade works on new and existing sites.
  • Design and programming of BMS / HVAC control systems.
  • Analyse data from a building\'s BMS to gain clarity on systems and faults.
  • Project management and small project work; work with clients in a technical advisory / consultative capacity.
Qualifications
  • Industry experience within electrical, HVAC, instrumentation / controls, security, data or related trades is highly regarded.
  • Hands-on experience with cabling or mechanical-electrical work and a willingness to further develop these skills (not mandatory).
  • An interest in IT and cybersecurity related skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with client-facing experience; customer-focused with ability to generate further business by providing solutions.
  • High-level problem-solving skills and a willingness to ongoing learn with BMS & Commercial Automation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects autonomously and as part of a team; enthusiastic, flexible and highly motivated.
  • Current driver\'s license and willingness to travel.
