What You'll Be Doing

You'll manage the end-to-end delivery of conferences (300–1500 delegates), ensuring exceptional client and delegate experiences from concept to delivery.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing full-cycle event coordination, including logistics, stakeholder liaison, program development, and delegate services
  • Overseeing timelines, budgets, registrations, suppliers, and venues
  • Coordinating communications with committees, venues, speakers, and sponsors
  • Supporting scientific program and abstract submissions
  • Leading onsite event delivery and managing post-event wrap-up
  • Acting as the key contact for clients and stakeholders
  • Mentoring junior team members (as appropriate)
  • Using EventsAir (or similar platforms) to manage event tech, reporting, and communications
What You Bring

We're after someone who's got the skills, attitude, and energy to thrive in a dynamic events environment.

You're a great fit if you:

  • Have 2+ years' experience in conference or event coordination, ideally within a PCO or association context
  • Understand how association conferences work
  • Have exceptional organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing deadlines
  • Communicate clearly and confidently—both written and verbal
  • Are confident with MS Office, EventsAir (or similar), CRMs, and project tools
  • Thrive in a collaborative team but can also work independently and take initiative
  • Have an eye for detail and a head for budgets
  • Are proactive, solutions-focused, and calm under pressure
  • Hold a qualification in Event Management or related field
  • Are willing to travel interstate as required
  • Are available to work after hours when required to meet event schedules and deadlines
  • Hold a current Australian driver's licence
