Overview

Senior Coordinator Infrastructure Services – City of Ryde (Careers at Council). North Ryde, NSW.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic civil engineer to manage and guide a small team in the planning, development, management and integration of civil and infrastructure assets for the City of Ryde.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the technical delivery of Council's civil and infrastructure assets, including roads, kerb & gutter renewal, pavement maintenance, street infrastructure, stormwater & drainage, bridges, retaining walls & seawalls.
  • Provide professional, strategic and technical advice and support related to Council's civil and infrastructure assets.
  • Lead day-to-day activities of the infrastructure services team; oversee project delivery and administration in a senior coordinating capacity.
Salary

Starting annual salary range: $139,838.58 – $181,790.15, plus 3.5% COLA and superannuation (dependent on experience and qualifications).

About You
  • Degree in Civil Engineering, with substantial diversified experience in engineering.
  • Highly developed technical skills, including the ability to read and analyse design and technical plans and specifications for public domain, civil and infrastructure works.
  • Demonstrated contract administration/management and dispute resolution skills.
  • Excellent business writing skills and ability to produce high-quality reports and correspondence.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to lead, manage and motivate staff.
  • High level computer systems knowledge.
  • Class C Drivers Licence.
