
Nional Business Development Manager

You will be responsible for developing and diversifying the business in line with financial and volume targets. You will focus on market penetration through sales leads and business development strategies to secure new customers. Strong customer and stakeholder relationships, along with excellent time management, will be key to your success.
Main responsibilities:
- Own, monitor, and drive all sales activities for your assigned customers, including preparing quotations, qualifying prospects, and nurturing them through the sales pipeline to close profitable and sustainable deals.
- Align sales efforts with the National Sales and Marketing Manager, including pricing and business development decisions.
- Gather and monitor marketplace information on competitors' pricing and products.
- Report customer feedback to the customer service teams and support resolutions as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues during the onboarding of new customers.
- Maintain and update relevant customer information in internal systems.
- Regularly review customer portfolios with the National Sales and Marketing Manager.
- Enhance customer engagement, satisfaction, retention, and reactivation through high-quality service in collaboration with other teams.
Requirements:
- Minimum 7–10 years in business development, sales, or account management within a freight forwarding or 3PL company.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop long-term strategies.
- Experience in leading negotiations and creating high-quality proposals.
- Ability to manage a sizeable pipeline and drive opportunities through the full customer engagement cycle.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate across global, regional, and country teams.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Self-motivated, strategic thinker with a proactive approach.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
