Role detailsThe Sutherland Hospital and Community Health Service is located in the Sutherland Shire (the Shire), approximately half an hour drive south of Sydney, in Caringbah. The hospital provides inpatient and outpatient services with 375 beds and cares for thousands of patients annually.
The role provides comprehensive clinical pharmacy services across The Sutherland Hospital and affiliated services, in the defined specialty area of clinical pharmacy and Antimicrobial Stewardship. Specialist Pharmacist roles are integral members of the Sutherland Hospital pharmacy team, providing specialist clinical knowledge and skills, and will work closely with Team Leader and Lead Pharmacist positions to maintain comprehensive pharmacy service across all operational hours.
The roleThe purpose of the role is to provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services across The Sutherland Hospital and affiliated services, for the defined specialty area of clinical pharmacy and Antimicrobial Stewardship.
All Specialist Pharmacist roles are integral members of The Sutherland Hospital pharmacy team to provide specialist clinical knowledge and skills for the pharmacy service. The position will work closely with Team Leader and Lead Pharmacist positions, to maintain comprehensive pharmacy service across all operational hours.
