About the role
Are you a pharmacist looking to specialise in oncology and haematology? This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a supportive hospital pharmacy team and develop your clinical expertise in a specialist area. We're seeking a passionate and motivated pharmacist to join our dynamic oncology pharmacy team, working alongside six other pharmacists across the District. You'll be supported through a structured training program and have access to an education fund to help you grow professionally.

Opportunities to liaise with medical oncologists, haematologists, nursing staff, allied health, and community pharmacists
Your Day-to-Day:
Engage with patients undergoing treatment, providing education and confirming medication histories
Review pathology and medical notes as needed
Verify and advise on anticancer treatment dosing, monitoring outcomes and toxicity
Provide medication information and support to healthcare professionals
Support patients and community pharmacists throughout the treatment journey
