We provide customers straightforward, no-strings-attached access to vehicle ownership with a strategic focus on Rideshare. We are also leading the transition to green mobility by moving the fleet to electric vehicles.

Splend was founded in Sydney, Australia in 2015 to make vehicle ownership for rideshare drivers more accessible through flexible, eco-friendly and affordable options. We now manage the largest electric vehicle fleet in Australia, focused on the rideshare market and green mobility solutions.

About the role

As the Sales Team Leader at Splend, you will lead a passionate team of sales experts in our retail-driven hubs, driving sales and customer growth while ensuring a best-in-class customer experience. This role combines leadership of hub operations with a focus on product sales and customer success, guiding both operational effectiveness and team enthusiasm for the product.

Responsibilities
  • Cultivate a team culture with deep product knowledge and enthusiasm for Splend's vehicle subscription packages. Train and mentor sales consultants to connect offerings with customer needs.
  • Oversee hub operations to ensure seamless functionality and superior service delivery; address challenges promptly and foster innovative problem-solving.
  • Implement sales strategies and monitor team performance against targets; adjust tactics to optimise sales outcomes and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain oversight of the customer journey from initial enquiry through onboarding, ensuring customers are matched with the right product to reduce churn and increase loyalty.
  • Collaborate with other team leaders, sales managers, and regional managers to align strategies and share insights.
  • Ensure the retail space is engaging and conducive to sales, managing product displays and promotional materials for maximum clarity and appeal.

  • Hands-on leadership style capable of driving both strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations.
  • Robust retail flair and meticulous organisational skills to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to pre-empt challenges and craft pre-emptive solutions.
  • High standards of professionalism and a commitment to quality customer interactions and team management.
  • A full unrestricted Australian Driver's License.
  • Comfortable commuting to our South Melbourne hub daily.
