The purpose of the Sales Planning Controller/Administrator role is to ensure effective planning, forecasting, and analysis of the business unit to support business growth and profitability. By collaborating with cross-functional teams and dealer networks, the Sales Planning Specialist enables data-driven strategies and outcomes. Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate sales reporting and meet performance targets, collaborating with dealers to drive monthly sales volumes
  • Assist in presentations with dealers and internal stakeholders
  • Support dealers through bulletins and inquiries
  • Develop and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual vehicle sales forecasts by model, region, and channel
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and historical sales data to identify risks and opportunities
  • Track and report on sales performance vs. plan and provide actionable insights to improve sales strategies
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve market penetration, pricing strategy, and sales performance
  • Prepare regular sales reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collate relevant data for internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate sales trainings and provide support
About You
  • 2-3 years' experience in a similar sales or forecasting role in the automotive (OEM) industry is highly regarded
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
