This is a senior employee relations role with real impact. At our fastest growing entity, Acknowledge Education, you'll be at the centre of managing sensitive workplace issues, coaching leaders, and shaping the frameworks that strengthen both compliance and culture. Reporting to the Employee Relations Manager, you'll be the first point of escalation for ER matters—balancing risk, fairness, and pragmatism in every decision.
What you'll be doing- Lead end-to-end management of complex ER cases and workplace investigations
- Prepare clear documentation including investigation reports and case summaries
- Provide pragmatic advice to leaders on ER matters, awards, and legislation
- Coach managers to build capability and confidence in handling workplace issues
- Contribute to policy development and the refinement of ER frameworks
- Partner with HR colleagues to support engagement, culture, and WHS initiatives
You're an experienced ER professional who can balance rigour with pragmatism. With strong knowledge of employment law and awards, you're confident managing complex, sensitive matters while maintaining fairness and discretion. Just as importantly, you know how to influence and coach others, building capability in leaders and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
- 5+ years' experience in employee/industrial relations, including complex case management
- Extensive workplace investigation experience with clear, thorough reporting
- Strong understanding of the Fair Work Act, modern awards, and employment legislation
- Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities with attention to detail and consistency
