Our client is looking for experiencedSenior Payroll Officerto start in a well run and organised payroll process based near Melbourne CBD You need to be bright, energetic, show great aptitude and a desire to hit the ground running
The position requires someone with full function payroll experience, where they will be responsible for payroll process as part of a team.
Duties are outlined but not limited to the following:
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the Senior Payroll Officer will sit within a team. You will have responsibility of supporting the payroll team administering and processing payroll covering High Volume Payrollon a fortnightly basis.
- Processing Fortnightly & Monthly AUS & NZ payroll using ELMO
- Interpreting relevant awards and multiple enterprise bargaining agreements
- High Volume Payroll Processing Knowledge
- Updating and maintaining payroll records
- Terminations
- Maintaining leave, sickness and overtime reports
- Answering queries
- Payroll reporting to meet statutory obligations
- Experience paying superannuation
- ELMO & NZ Payroll processing experience is a highly desirable
- At least 5years' end to endpayroll processing experience
- Must have strong Excel Skills -Pivot Table & V- LOOKUPS
- Understanding, interpreting and applying relevant legislation
- Calculation of payroll tax and superannuation
