Senior Payroll Officer

This role is 0.8 FTE - 4 days per week (or full time for the right person)This role would suit someone with 4+ years of experience running complex end to end payroll processes over several different EBA's and a person who is passionate about payroll and growing their skills in this field.

The role: Effectively processing end to end payroll across weekly, fortnightly and monthly pay runs Facilitating payroll adjustments for salary increments, setting up new hires, calculation and processing of termination payment and other deductions Assist with month end process and reconciliations, including information for superannuation, payroll tax and workcover payments Attending to payroll queries in a timely manner and assisting with any payroll projects that are happening in the payroll department Provide timely, accurate payroll advice and support to employees and managers.
Working across a large number of awards and EBAs, interpreting where appropriate The right candidate will have:4+ years end to end payroll experience Experience processing pay runs of over 300 employees Experience using ADP or Mitrefinch T&A - required Experience using multiple awards and the ability to interpret multiple EBAs - required A passion for payroll and a want to learn and grow your skillset High attention to detail and accuracy skills Great communication skills and the ability to form good internal relationships Intermediate to advanced excel skills - Ability to do Vlook up - required The company: Located in Altona, with parking onsite0.8 FTE or Full time for the right person.
Flexibility - for an early or later start/finish, one day working from home.
