Overview

Allied Health Assistant (Lvl 2/3) – Physiotherapy – Permanent Full Time

Location: Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital | Employment Type: Permanent Full Time, 38 hrs per week

Responsibilities
  • Provide a high quality clinical service to clients and their families/carers under the supervision of an Allied Health Professional to optimise health outcomes for the clients of the service.
  • Undertake designated departmental and administrative tasks necessary to support service delivery.

As an Allied Health Assistant, you'll work alongside experienced Allied Health Professionals to support clinical care, assist with treatment plans, and contribute to improved patient outcomes. You'll be part of a collaborative team that values your contribution and encourages professional growth.

Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital is located in Bankstown and offers diverse presentations and a range of services. It provides opportunities for career development and regular training.

Qualifications
  • Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or relevant qualification, or minimum 12 months full-time equivalent relevant experience with commitment to undertake the Certificate IV in AHA within 12 months.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and complete activities within scope of practice, seeking assistance when required.
  • Demonstrated good organisational skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation and principles.
  • Australian C-Class driver's licence (including P1 or P2). NSW licence requirements apply as described.
