The Billing System Administrator is a member of the Billing Operations team supporting Equifax operations in Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the Head of Billing, this role is responsible for the administration of customer pricing within our billing system and providing support for billing related inquiries from both internal and external customers.

What you'll do

Assist in ensuring that customer billing follows pricing policy and contracts. Maintain billing system parameters and prices. Perform regular billing system maintenance for transaction pricing by ensuring all billing system parameters and prices are in place prior to the monthly bill run. Provide prompt and professional responses to internal and external enquiries that pertain to customer invoices. Analyse and calculate billing adjustments when required. Organise, carry out and document numerous interrelated and recurring monthly operational tasks to strict deadlines. Do monthly summary reporting of pricing and maintenance actions that have been completed and their financial impact based on corporate and auditor's requirements. Manually monitor pricing performance and special billing requirements (including rebates, discounts, and innovation funds) to ensure the correct ongoing billing. Assist in the trouble shooting and the resolution of identified operational issues. Participation in ad-hoc projects related to changes in pricing strategy and/or systems upgrades. Monitor and document exception handling relating to special pricing.

What Experience You Need

3+ years of professional experience (financial services industry preferred) Strong data analysis skills and analytical reporting Strong problem-solving skills Well-developed organisation and task coordination skills Strong Microsoft Office skills Demonstrated attention to detail. Demonstrated strong time management skills and ability to work independently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including written skills and ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
