Job Description

Join Civeo's dynamic team and lead the operations of our hospitality venues including Zest Eatery, Hub Bar, The Store, and other retail offerings. We're looking for a passionate and experienced leader to manage our retail and bar operations, drive customer satisfaction, and ensure operational excellence.

About The Role

As the Hospitality Venues Manager, you will oversee Profit and Loss accounts for The HUB and retail outlets, including ordering, invoicing, stock control, quality assurance, and legislative compliance. You'll coordinate monthly stock takes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. The role is based at Coppabella.

This is a DIDO role on a 14:7 roster

Key Responsibilities

  • Allocate and supervise staff across departments, ensuring appropriate qualifications and RSA certification.
  • Crosstrain team members and set KPIs aligned with Civeo's objectives.
  • Drive a values-based culture, employee engagement, and succession planning.
  • Support wellbeing initiatives in collaboration with the Health and Wellness Team.
  • Maintain stock levels and enhance product offerings.
  • Ensure a safe and respectful environment for guests.
  • Ensure compliance with Liquor Licensing and internal policies.
  • Support daily operations, marketing, and event coordination.
  • Implement and optimize POS and stock control systems.
  • Work with security and uphold health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Monitor labour, COGS, and operational costs; take corrective actions as needed.
  • Provide weekly sales reports and monthly financial summaries.
  • Conduct stock checks and audits, ensuring financial compliance.

Skills And Experience

  • Minimum 3 years in multi-outlet food and beverage management, preferably in hotels or resorts.
  • Experience with POS systems and managing P&L accounts.
  • Strong staff management and operational leadership skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and supervisory abilities.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; hospitality reservation systems are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel and support operations in the Bowen Basin.
