The Role

We are seeking a flexible and motivated Ophthalmic Equipment Specialist to manage a diverse role encompassing sales, servicing, installation, and clinical education of our portfolio across NSW. You'll be the face of Ophthalmix in the field – developing customer relationships, delivering hands-on support and training, and driving business growth.

While your primary territory will be NSW, some interstate travel will be required to support national customers, attend training, or represent the company at events.

Key Responsibilities

·Install and configure ophthalmic diagnostic and surgical equipment

·Provide technical support, maintenance, and basic repairs as needed

·Promote and sell products to ophthalmologists, optometrists, and clinics

·Deliver product demonstrations and in-practice training

·Provide clinical education on the use and integration of both surgical and diagnostic equipment

·Build long-term customer relationships across the NSW territory

·Collaborate with company leadership on sales strategy and service planning

·Represent Ophthalmix at trade shows, conferences, and industry events

About You

·Experience in the ophthalmic industry or medical device sales (preferred)

·Technically minded with hands-on problem-solving skills

·Comfortable working autonomously and travelling regularly within NSW

·Willing and able to travel interstate when required

·Confident in delivering clinical training and education to healthcare professionals

·Professional, proactive, and customer-focused

·Willing to adapt and grow within a fast-moving startup environment
