About The Opportunity

Associate Engineering Intake — join our CampUs program in February 2026. Our CampUs Program provides ongoing, adaptable and personalized development opportunities, with a holistic growth path built around the "3 E's of Development":

  • Experience: On-the-job experiences working on real projects with a cross-functional team.
  • Exposure: Learning by observation and feedback; mentors and buddies guide you through Culture Amp and software engineering.
  • Education: Structured learning activities to strengthen technical and core skills.

Engineering at Culture Amp is an inclusive, cross-functional practice that uses lightweight agile methods and AI to amplify impact.

Responsibilities
  • Tackle a wide variety of technical problems across codebases and build features with support from your team.
  • Collaborate with other engineers through pair programming.
  • Partner with AI coding agents to enhance development workflow.
  • Work with product managers and designers to understand customer problems and implement solutions.
  • Maintain and support the services your team is responsible for.
Qualifications
  • Completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering (or a related STEM discipline), or finished a coding bootcamp within the last 12 months (must be completed before joining the CampUs Program in February 2026).
  • Willing to work across the technology stack Culture Amp uses (e.g., React/TypeScript, Ruby, Kotlin, Go).
  • Open to AI tools and leveraging AI coding tools such as Claude Code.
  • Proactive, clear communicator with empathy and kindness; able to articulate ideas effectively.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and seek support when needed.
  • Growth mindset and willingness to embrace challenges.
  • Based in Melbourne, Australia.
