Overview

Associate/Senior Associate Engineer – Renewables to join the Energy Team in ANZ. You'll provide high quality design, engineering knowledge and effective project management to support ongoing activities of a leading multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy. Role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide or Perth.

The Role

We are seeking to engage an Associate/Senior Associate Engineer – Renewables to join our Energy Team in ANZ.

Responsibilities
  • Provide senior level advice and undertake key complex technical tasks with a high degree of independence across a broad range of small, medium and large projects
  • Monitor and manage the scope and risk of multiple projects and apply business systems
  • Apply high level skills in safety in design practices and processes
  • Deliver best client outcomes which have resulted in cost savings
  • Build technical capability of others
  • Prepare complex technical reports and proposals on small, medium and large projects
  • Plan workloads effectively to meet deadlines
  • Work across a variety of projects, learning and applying new skills quickly
  • Manage client relationships and expectations
  • Provide supervision and coaching to other staff
  • Engage key stakeholders to achieve superior project outcomes that meet or exceed client expectations
About You
  • Bachelor's Degree (Engineering) or Equivalent
  • CPEng, RPEQ
  • Member of Engineers Australia
  • Circa 8–12 years' relevant professional experience
  • High level consulting and client management skills
  • Business planning, budgeting and commercial acumen
  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex information
  • Client service orientation
  • Proven project management skills (meeting budget, timeframes and client requirements)
  • Understanding of business/organisation/marketing context of solutions
  • Familiar with relevant Australian Standards and specifications
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working in a diverse, multi-disciplinary environment
