Associate Mechanical Engineer
to join our
Mission Critical team
. This role can be based in
Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane

What is your role?
You'll take a key leadership role within our national Mission Critical team, contributing to the planning, design and delivery of mechanical services for technically complex data centre projects. You'll work closely with national and international clients, leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering innovative, resilient mechanical engineering solutions that support operational continuity.
You'll provide leadership in client engagement, team mentoring, project delivery, and technical design - supporting everything from feasibility through to detailed design and construction. You will also be instrumental in shaping our mechanical engineering capability within the data centre sector and mentoring the next generation of technical leaders at ADP.

About You
- Mechanical engineer with 10+ years of experience in the building services industry, with a strong track record delivering complex, high-value projects across critical infrastructure.
- Deep expertise in HVAC design and delivery, with a focus on resilient, efficient mechanical systems for mission-critical environments.
- Demonstrated success in leading project teams, engaging with clients, and delivering strategic outcomes across multidisciplinary environments.
- Experience spanning diverse sectors such as mission critical, defence, healthcare, or large-scale commercial projects, with an understanding of the regulatory and operational complexities involved.
- Confident managing competing priorities, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating across internal and external stakeholders to deliver best-in-class solutions.
- Hold (or are eligible for) professional registration and understand your obligations as a senior design practitioner under relevant state legislation.
