Overview

We're a national building services company with a strong Victorian base, delivering plumbing, compliance, and roofing solutions across the commercial property and construction sector. Our clients include builders, developers, facilities managers, property managers, strata managers, and insurance builders. This is a newly created role with the opportunity to shape growth. As a Commercial Business Development Manager, you'll use your industry knowledge and networks to open doors, build trust, and drive long-term business growth – backed by a highly skilled technical and operational team.

About the Role
  • Drive new business with commercial property managers, strata managers, Tier 2 & 3 builders, developers, and insurance builders
  • Leverage your experience and industry networks to create immediate traction
  • Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and service contracts
  • Explore and pursue new market opportunities
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, supported by technical quoting and customer service teams
  • Provide market insights to inform national growth strategies
About You
  • Proven BDM experience in construction, property, facilities, or building services
  • Strong customer relationships (or the ability to build them fast)
  • A self-starter who thrives on hunting new business and growing accounts
  • Commercially sharp with strong negotiation and closing skills
  • A genuine team player who values collaboration over ego
  • Trusted by both external clients and internal colleagues
