The Opportunity
Due to an internal promotion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payroll Specialist on a 24-month fixed-term contract to join our high performing Finance team. The role will support us add value in driving the implementation of key projects and spearheading process improvement initiatives. Bringing your complex and robust payroll experience, along with a general understanding of enterprise agreements and legislation, you will play a crucial role contributing to payroll projects, reviewing payroll processes and developing efficiencies.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Over 10 years-experience within large dynamic organisations
- Experience with HRIS systems, complex payroll processing, including interpretation of varying Enterprise Agreements
- Understanding of superannuation, workers compensation and income protection schemes
- A precise and meticulous approach to work with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding customer service with a friendly, customer-focused attitude
