The Opportunity
We are seeking a visionary General Manager - Technology & Business Transformation to lead CentrePort's digital evolution. Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, this role will drive strategic technology initiatives that enhance performance, customer experience, and long-term value.
You'll lead a high-impact transformation and change programmes focused on:
- Smart Port technologies including IoT, Digital Twins, AI, and Port Community Systems
- Commercially driven innovation that delivers measurable outcomes
- Cross-functional change leadership across operations, infrastructure, and customer services
This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of a nationally significant infrastructure asset.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a business-aligned technology strategy
- Lead digital transformation programmes with strong commercial oversight
- Champion innovation, data-driven decision-making, and modern ways of working
- Ensure cybersecurity, operational resilience, and technology governance
- Provide trusted advice to the CEO, Board, and Executive Team
- Build strategic partnerships with vendors and delivery partners
About You
You're a strategic and commercially astute leader with:
- Executive-level experience or capability in technology, transformation, or digital strategy
- Proven success leading complex, organisation-wide technology change programmes
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies and their business applications
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A collaborative leadership style and a passion for innovation
- Tertiary qualifications in business, engineering, or information systems
