Location: Kelvin Grove, Brisbane (hybrid option available).

Remuneration: $120,443 to $131,749 per annum (HEW7). Includes superannuation and leave loading where applicable.

Overview

We are seeking a Lead, Educational Technology Support to join the Learning and Teaching Unit, Education Portfolio, Academic Division. The role involves supporting and maintaining QUT's educational technology stack from a business perspective, working collaboratively with colleagues across the Curriculum Design Studios, the Educational Technologies Adoption Manager, and stakeholders in Divisions and Faculties. The role supports QUT's learning and teaching strategy, including the Digital Campus Vision, Real World Learning Vision, and Quality Standards for Learning and Teaching. You will help ensure educational technologies are effectively leveraged to enhance teaching practices and student learning experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Support and maintain QUT's educational technology stack from a business perspective.
  • Collaborate with Curriculum Design Studios, the Educational Technologies Adoption Manager, and stakeholders across Divisions and Faculties.
  • Contribute to advancing QUT's learning and teaching strategy and related visions.
  • Provide input and support to ensure educational technologies are leveraged to enhance teaching practices and student learning outcomes.
What You Need To Succeed
  • Education or training equivalent to a degree in a relevant field, plus experience configuring and supporting educational technologies and digital media; or an equivalent combination of education/training and experience.
  • Proven digital literacy with experience using, supporting, testing, and configuring learning management systems and related educational technologies.
  • Experience aligning UX and learning approaches with educational technology solutions to enhance student learning outcomes.
  • Experience coordinating multiple internal and external stakeholders with competing deadlines to achieve outcomes.
  • Experience with digital media production, HTML and CSS.
  • Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders across the university.
