We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Maintenance Coordinator / BDM to join our team at Cladding & Roofing. This role is pivotal in supporting the operational management and growth of our commercial roofing maintenance services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance coordination, excellent leadership skills, and an understanding of commercial roofing systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCoordination and Supervision
  • Assist in the coordination of daily maintenance activities, ensuring efficiency and adherence to schedules.
  • Supervise maintenance teams on-site, providing guidance and support as necessary.
  • Collaborate with senior management to optimise service delivery and client satisfaction.
Client Relationship Management
  • Act as a primary point of contact for key clients, addressing enquiries and ensuring service delivery meets expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering long-term partnerships and repeat business.
  • Look for new opportunities to attract and retain new clients across various industries.
Technical Oversight
  • Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance teams, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Conduct periodic quality assessments to uphold service excellence and identify areas for improvement.
Administrative Support
  • Assist in job assessment, quoting and resource allocation for successful maintenance projects.
Team Development
  • Mentor and train junior staff members, promoting professional growth and skill development.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Proven experience in maintenance coordination or a related field, preferably within the commercial roofing sector.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Sound knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, and maintenance practices.
  • Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a construction or maintenance team.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practice for commercial roofing and safety protocols related to commercial roofing.
