Job Title:  Asset Maintenance Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Maintenance Coordinator to join our team.

Job Description

As an Asset Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning maintenance activities to ensure the smooth operation of Defence assets. You will work closely with Defence clients to schedule weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance planning, and ensure clear communication between teams, Defence members, APS staff, and external industry contacts.

You will plan Australian Defence Force (ADF) network maintenance activities and programmed maintenance activities and operational programs. You will use Commonwealth Mandated Information Systems for managing work orders, scheduling maintenance tasks, and requisitioning parts. Additionally, you will collaborate with Defence clients to identify improvement initiatives and recommend improvements to current practices.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in planning and scheduling mechanical maintenance activities within a complex industrial environment.
  • Trade or tertiary qualification in a mechanical or engineering field and/or tertiary qualification in planning, scheduling, or related field.
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) and working knowledge of SAP.
