The Role

Location: Sydney, NSW

Reports To: General Counsel ANZ

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are looking for a capable, hands-on Legal Counsel with a strong work ethic, a practical mindset, and a genuine interest in the construction and infrastructure industry. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, solutions-focused, and comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

This is a rare opportunity to work in a broad in-house legal role supporting all aspects of the Group's operations, from project delivery and procurement to claims and governance.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB or JD) with a current Australian practising certificate.
  • 1 - 4 or more years' post-admission experience, ideally with exposure to construction, infrastructure, or major projects.
  • A double degree in Law and Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management is highly regarded.
  • Previous in-house or top/mid-tier private practice experience preferred.
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • High level of autonomy, initiative, and the ability to see matters through to resolution.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to engage credibly with both legal and non-legal stakeholders.
  • Hardworking, practical, and down-to-earth attitude with a genuine interest in the construction industry.
