Responsibilities of your role

Reporting to the Single Giving Manager, this team-based role is accountable for executing the Appeals Programs and Direct Mail activity for MSF Australia and MSF New Zealand.

You will project manage campaigns across appeals, newsletters, emergency DM, and mailing with a focus on acquisition, retention, reactivation, and upgrades. Your role includes improving processes, ensuring compliance, reviewing editorial standards, reporting, and contributing to strategy, annual plans, and budgeting.

Represent MSFA by managing relationships with external stakeholders—creative agencies, contractors, mail houses, list suppliers, and data specialists—and collaborating internally with international counterparts and domestic teams such as Data, Supporter Relations, Digital, and Communications.

What you will bring

To succeed, you should have a broad understanding of fundraising principles and a strong drive to meet targets. You should demonstrate:

  • Excellent understanding of direct mail fundraising or similar programs
  • Proven project and account management experience
  • Experience using data for decision-making and strategy
  • Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders
  • Outstanding organizational and administrative skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
