Northside Christian College is seeking a faith-driven and experienced Inclusive Education Coordinator to join our Team. This part-time leadership role will begin in Term 1 2026 or earlier by negotiation.

This is a unique opportunity for a visionary educator to assist in inclusive practices across the College, supporting students with diverse learning needs while working within a community deeply committed to Christian values, academic growth, and student wellbeing.

About the Position

  • Part-time, ongoing position commencing in Term 1, 2026.
    • Assist the Director of Inclusive Education in the development, implementation, and oversight of inclusive education practices across Primary and Secondary school settings.
    • Oversee support for students with diverse learning needs, including those with disabilities, learning difficulties, and social-emotional challenges.
    • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to design effective learning plans and interventions.
    • Support compliance with NCCD, funding submissions, adjustments, and documentation in line with government and College policies.
    • Assisting a team of Learning Support staff, providing guidance, training, and mentorship.
    • Contribute as a member of the Inclusive Education Team, bringing insight into student wellbeing and access to learning.
    • Embed inclusive education within a Christ-centred approach, affirming the God-given dignity and potential of every student.

What We're Looking For

  • A genuine passion for teaching and Christian education.
    • A committed Christian actively involved in a local church, aligned with the College's mission and values.
    • An experienced and qualified teacher (VIT registered) with additional qualifications or training in Special or Inclusive Education (desirable).
    • Demonstrated leadership in inclusive education, learning support, or wellbeing, ideally in a school context.
    • Strong knowledge of NCCD processes, individual learning plans, and differentiation.
    • A compassionate communicator with excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
    • A strategic thinker who can lead change and build capacity in others.
