The Role

The Adviser Enterprise Committees, Ministerial and Parliamentary is part of a small team, responsible for supporting the Chief Defence Scientist (CDS). Working to the Senior Adviser you will operate under broad direction to achieve desired results within a high profile and fast-paced environment.

Your responsibilities within the team will include:

  • Providing strategic, technical and administrative support to CDS in preparation for enterprise committee meetings including, but not limited to, the Investment Committee and the Enterprise Business Committee, and provide support to CDS for Senate Estimates, and Private Briefings.
  • Supervising and supporting the Enterprise Committees, Ministerial and Parliamentary Officer, with responsibility for coordinating Freedom of Information requests for the Defence Science and Technology Group (DSTG) to ensure they meet statutory requirements.
