About The Opportunity

Lead meaningful change, deliver impactful training, and work closely with leaders to turn ideas into measurable outcomes. Working with the Manager Organisational Performance, you\'ll help shape and implement systems and strategies that support Council's long-term goals and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

You\'ll champion Business Excellence principles, deliver corporate training, and promote innovation across all levels of the organisation. You\'ll collaborate with teams to understand their operational needs, support improvement initiatives, and help embed a proactive, accountable and forward-thinking culture.

Your work will influence organisational capability and contribute to how Council operates and evolves. If you are a strategic thinker with a passion for innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement, this is your chance to lead transformation and contribute to a high-performing future.

What You Will Bring

Ideally the successful applicant will have the following:

  • Degree or Diploma in a relevant discipline such as Business, Organisational Development or Human Resources or lesser formal qualifications with relevant experience in a related field.
  • Hands-on experience in organisational development, business improvement, or a related area with understanding of what it takes to help teams and organisations grow and improve.
  • Familiar with Business Excellence frameworks or other continuous improvement models and understanding of how you apply them.
  • Demonstrated experience and confidence in reporting writing, delivering presentations, training and workshops.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of data-driven thinking, benchmarking, and research tools to analyse business processes and support smart decision making.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, capable of working with people at all levels to achieve shared goals.
  • Hold a current satisfactory National Police Check or willingness to obtain one prior to employment.
Salary and conditions

The position is classified within Band 6 of Council\u2019s Current Enterprise Agreement, ranging from $93,602 to $101,911 per annum plus statutory superannuation.
